FOR THE LEGACY:
2007 Sponsorship Opportunities
Primary Sponsor - $5,000
The “Links for the Legacy” is looking for the “one”
major sponsor to assist with this very worth while adventure.
Nonprofit organizations such as the Lakewood Legacy Foundation help
to build communities and offer ways for citizens to be involved in
shaping the futures of their cities. With this level of involvement,
your company will share billing with the Foundation in all
promotions, news releases and feature stories involved with the
tournament. Special recognition will be given at the banquet
following the tournament. Entry fee for 4 players will be provided
for those players of your choosing. A large banner will be
prominently displayed at the tournament , and special recognition in
the tournament program booklet provided to each golfer.
Shirt Sponsor - $3,500
Each year a high quality shirt is provided to each
golfer in the tournament. This shirt will have the sponsor’s name
embroidered on one sleeve and “Links for the Legacy” in another
location. This will provide walking advertisement to the sponsor for
many rounds of golf as the shirt is being worn by the participating
golfer. Special recognition will be given at the banquet following
play, and in all news releases.
Golfing Cart Sponsor -$1,000
A good opportunity to provide exposure for your
business. A sign on each cart will put your name in front of all the
golfers. Recognition in the tournament program booklet provided to
all golfers and special recognition at the banquet will put your
name out as a leader in the community.
Beverage Cart Sponsor - $500
There will be two beverage carts on the course
during the tournament and your business name will be presented on
each cart. This sponsorship will provide the drinks for the golfers
during play. Coupon tickets will be given to each golfer with your
business name on them for additional recognition. Mention in the
tournament program booklet provided to each golfer and special
mention during the banquet will continue to make this one of the
more valuable sponsorships.
Hole Sponsor -$250
Thirty-six hole sponsors are needed for the
tournament. These sponsors will have a sign at the tee box of their
respective hole. Sponsors are invited to provide personnel and/or
promotional items at their assigned location during the tournament.
Mention in the tournament program booklet provided to each golfer
and recognition at the banquet following play makes this our most
popular sponsorship.
Driving Range Sponsor - $500
Most players will go to the driving range prior to
the start of the tournament. There will also be some public players
using the 3
rd
nine hole course not used for the
tournament that will also be using the range throughout the day. Two
or three large signs will be placed on the range and will be visible
throughout the day. Special recognition will be given at the banquet
and listing in the tournament program booklet given to each player.
Putting Green Sponsor - $500
Every golfer automatically goes to the putting green
prior to the start of play. Two large signs of the sponsor will be
provided on the edge of the putting green for all to observe.
Recognition will be given in the tournament program booklet given to
each golfer. This just might be the Best Buy of the day. Only
one sponsorship per putting green will be available.
Prize Donations
Prizes are needed from merchants to use for the
raffle, door prizes and contests being held during the tournament.
These include meals from restaurants, merchandise from retailers or
manufacturers, or promotional items used in businesses for their own
advertising. Donors will receive recognition at the banquet
following the play, listing in the tournament program booklet for
the day given to each golfer and an undying love from the recipient
of the prize.
Goodie Bag Donations
Items are needed for the golfer’s “Goodie Bags.”
Small, monogrammed sales items are ideal to include. Business can
promote its products and services with minimal cost with this type
of advertising. A minimum of 150 of each item is requested so that
each player will have a memento of the day and a reminder of your
civic support.
